Indiana Transgender Network

In Trans Network

The Indiana Transgender Network aggregates resources available to transgender and gender diverse people living in Indiana. Our goal is to make it easier for people making a gender transition or trying to understand the subject of gender identity to find counselors, medical resources, legal information, support groups, advocacy organizations and other help on their journey.

We also post local and national news items of interest to trans and gender diverse folks.

Marriage Equality is now the law of the land!

Scott and Greg

We would like to take this opportunity to mark this momentous day in LGBT history. The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that Marriage Equality is now the law of the land. With this ruling, Lesbian and Gay couples across the country now have the right and privilege to marry the person they love without fear of legal recrimination.

We thank all of those people and organizations who fought hard to make this happen. Without your diligence and perseverance, we would not be celebrating this day.

Congratulations!

Breaking the Silence at Headwaters Park

The NEI LGBTQA Coaliton held the Breaking of the Silence Vigil for the National Day of Silence at Headwaters Park.  Four speakers talked to the gathered crowd which then marched to the rainbow lit MLK Bridge, followed by lighting and launching lantern balloons.  It was a wonderful vigil.
